Camera models in today’s announcement include the ultra-compact FinePix V10, the super-slim FinePix F470 and two digicams ideal for first time digital camera buyers: the FinePix A400 and FinePix A500.

Spotlight features of each model include:

FinePix V10

- Real Photo Technology, which includes a five MegaPixel Super CCD HR sensor and the RP Processor.

- The FinePix V10 can take pictures at ISO-equivalent sensitivities as high as 1600 at full resolution with less noise than comparable digital cameras. Higher sensitivities allow for faster shutter speeds, which combat blurring due to camera shake and subject movement.

- A helpful shooting mode that fires two pictures in succession – one with and without flash. This is a handy feature for judging which setting takes the better picture.

- A huge 3-inch LCD reinforced against breakage with automatic gain up for low-light environments and glare-reducing properties when in direct sunlight.

- Four, fun video games for a little entertainment outside of photography.

- Available in March for $349.

FinePix F470

- A slim design makes for an easy stow in a shirt pocket or clutch purse.

- Six MegaPixels worth of resolution along with a 3x optical zoom lens.

- Internal memory, a great storage safety net for when media cards get full.

- Available in March for $279.

FinePix A400 & FinePix A500

- For the first time, the famed Super CCD sensor appears in Fujifilm’s most user-friendly cameras.

- The FinePix A400 and FinePix A500 have four MegaPixel and five MegaPixel Super CCD sensors, respectively.

- A handful of scene modes for optimal camera settings in a variety of shooting environments.

- Internal memory.

- A LCD that is easier to view in direct sunlight or a brightly lit room thanks to anti-glare coatings.

- The FinePix A400 hits store shelves at $149, and the FinePix A500 will land at $179. Both are available in February.
