Fujifilm announces trifecta of digital cameras, extends Face Detection capability to 8 MP model

Next week at CES, Fujifilm will display the just announced FinePix F40fd - an 8 MegaPixel compact digital camera with Fujifilm's proprietary Face Detection Technology. The company will also showcase two new entry level models featuring Fujifilm’s Super CCD sensor - the 6 MP FinePix A610 and 8 MP FinePix A800. Also at CES, Fujifilm exec Rich Gadomski, VP of Marketing, will join entertainment and technology industry leaders to discuss the challenges and opportunities created by a need to manage and distribute digital and increasingly high definition entertainment content. Moderated by Lee Gomes of The Wall Street Journal, the panel will take place at Storage Visions Conference, which runs concurrently with CES - at the Flamingo on Sunday, January 9th @ 9:30A.
