Once again, Fujifilm is pleased to offer Holiday sleeves on the QuickSnap Flash 1000™. The high film-speed and longer flash range make this a great camera for all holiday pictures. The Holiday sleeves are applied over regular packaging, so at the end of the season the sleeves can be discarded and the regular packaging remains.
These One-Time-Use Cameras will make great stocking stuffers!

Efforts include “Images of Health: Mammograms for a Million Moms” signage at the LPGA Tournament and in-store promotion in all Longs Drug stores
“It’s very important to Fujifilm to spread the word about early detection through our Images of Health program. We’re very grateful to Longs Drugs for its wonderful support of this important cause and our initiative,” said Joe Vaughey, Vice President of Marketing & Finance, Imaging Division, FUJIFILM, U.S.A., Inc.
Fujifilm kicked off the campaign at the annual Longs Drugs LPGA Tournament in Danville, California which took place earlier this month. Approximately 60,000 people attended the Longs Drugs Challenge, and as a “Grand Slam” Sponsor of this year’s tournament, Fujifilm had a tent adjacent to the 18th green with brochures and pledge cards for Breast Screening Examinations in conjunction with Images of Health: Mammograms for a Million Moms.
The program was created by Fujifilm Medical Systems, producers of the world’s most widely used digital mammography system, to raise awareness of the life-saving importance of mammography to detect breast cancer. It supports the National Breast Cancer Foundation’s (NBCF) mission to save lives through breast cancer education and programs that provide for the screening of underserved women. The campaign, through its website, www.imagesofhealth.com is designed not only to educate and support early detection, but also to motivate, and drive over one million women to pledge to get a mammogram —statistics show that for every 1,000,000 screening mammograms, 1,000 lives could be saved by the early detection of cancer.
All Longs Drug Stores will have a month long floor display with Fujifilm QuickSnap Pink cameras that carry the Images of Health message. The QuickSnap Pink will be featured in Longs Drugs ads and in the United Rebates catalogue during October.
Longs Drugs will further support this initiative with an insert in all photo processing orders throughout October. The insert has information about Images of Health: Mammograms for a Million Moms, along with a coupon for $2 off the price of the Fujifilm QuickSnap Pink camera.
“We are very proud to provide product placement, advertising and the highly visible coupon in all Longs Drugs in-store photo processing orders for the entire month of October,” said Todd Vasos, Senior Vice President and Chief Merchandising Officer of Longs Drugs. “More importantly, this effort demonstrates our shared commitment with Fujifilm to this very worthy cause.”
In addition, Fujifilm makes a financial contribution to the NBCF for every QuickSnap Pink camera sold at Longs Drug stores. Packaging displays information on the program to point women and their families to the www.imagesofhealth.com web site to pledge for their health and obtain the valuable mammography information and breast screening resources.

35mm Film and One-Time-Use Camera Pre-Paid Mailers are Now Available
“This program offers the consumer value and convenience. It brings quality Fujicolor processing right to the consumer’s doorstep with easy-to-use postage paid mailers,” said Rafi Haqqani, Senior Product Manager for One-Time-Use Cameras, FUJIFILM U.S.A., Inc.
Fujifilm is especially excited to offer this service in times when it may be challenging for consumers to find time to drop off their film and pick up prints, or to find a photofinishing retailer in some remote areas. Consumers can purchase the pre-paid mailers at the time of their Film or One-Time-Use Camera purchase, mail the exposed cartridge or camera, and then have the prints conveniently delivered to their door.
Separate pre-paid mailers are available for 35mm Film and 35mm One-Time-Use Cameras. Each mailer holds one roll of Film, or one OTUC. Prints are 4”x6”, printed on high quality glossy Fujicolor Crystal Archive Paper, and mailed back to the consumer within 7-10 business days.
Suggested retail prices for the pre-paid mailers are $15.99 for the 35mm Film mailer and $17.99 for the 35mm OTUC mailer.
